From my fic "Sugati", Chapter 8

This is the first time I've ever tried to paint one like this, with my tablet...I'm not unhappy with the way it came out :) I used screencaps for reference, and a pic Sharlto has on his facebook of himself in makeup during the filming of D9. The lighting was just what I wanted so I sampled all my Wikus colors right from that pic.


EDIT: I should probably make a note...I didn't think to before because Chapter 8 illustrates what's happening here, but this isn't an interspecies relations sort of scene. Not that there's anything wrong with that! There's not. But this is an expression of genuine camaraderie between two people who've just survived an ordeal, not like a...sex...thingy.
